In 2022 we sailed to many wonderful places, climbed on montains several times, swam in the fresh water of Loch Coruisk on Skye and visited the Outer Hebrides. Starting from Kip Marina in the Clyde we rounded the Mull of Kintyre on a rainy day in May and went North to Oban. 7 crews shared some great experiences on their cruises. We concluded the season in favourable weather conditions end of September, sailing back into the Clyde to Kip to winterize the boat.
Juerg got into reading the history of Scotland of the late 18th century and told stories and pieces of the Jacobite history. It was an exiting idea to follow the routes of Bonny Prince Charles and Flora MacDonald on his escape from the vengeance of the unionist troops. The Skye boat song was often quoted and listened to.
